Steiner Award for Creativity in Music Research

Claire received the Steiner Award for Creativity in Music Research from Grinnell College in May 2020 for her paper "The Social Circumstances in which Fanny M. Hensel Composed and Published." The panel was "very impressed with her research and the way she employed the large number of resources to establish the complex context in which Hensel wrote and published. She's a strong writer with a clear, cohesive purpose."
